View Full Version : Personalize your chipboard with paint!

Painting any sort of chipboard shapes can become your own unique embellishment!! The chipboard comes in soo many shapes and sizes and you can even make your own!!
This is a three step process here that I will show you to really customize your chipboard and make it your own!
The first step is to pick your shapes and apply one coat of acrylic paint of your color choosing....if you would like it darker, maybe coat it with two coats of paint.

For the second step, I used my white paint pen to add some polka dots all around the border of the chipboard shape...very random and not very precise...just have fun with it...use swirls, border it, do whatever you would like to jazz it up a bit!

I then took my black pen and outlined the dots to make the pop! Use this as a mini frame, a frame for journaling or just whatever you think!

How cute! I am always so proud of myself when I alter chipboard with paint...I never thought to do my own design. Genius!

Just go for it! You won't mess it up...it's actually alot of fun...and addicting...so many fun colors and things to do with the paint & chipboard, or whatever you are painting!

What a fun idea Michelle! I love all your mini-tutorials! Keep 'em coming.

I really love the idea of painting chipboard and on layouts. I really like how you outlined the dots and the inner and outter part of the frame.
