Please for give me for being late on this!! Been slightly under the weather!
This challenge I will try and spark your cretivity in the ways and means of covering chipboard and making your own unuique chipboard embellishments!
The first technique I used to cover chipboard was to use gaffer tape. This tape is sort of like masking tape or duct tape, very sticky and comes in all sorts of different patterns. Suzanne has some 7 gypsies gaffer tape in store that I have and I loooove RIGHT HERE (http://www.scraplove.com/store/search.php?mode=search&page=1)!
I used some teal star pattern tape for covering my swirl. Pictures are pretty self explanatory, but I just completely covered the swirl with strips of tape, and then cut off the excess with my xacto knife.

Next technique I used has many different looks to it as well and you could go crazy with the imagination! First off I used some Tim Holtz ink to completely cover the chipboard with it, then coated the chipboard piece with Glossy Accents. I think this one is my new favorite! :)

Third technique I have to show you deals with paint and rub ons! Just pick your chipboard piece, paint it with any acrylic paint, LET IT DRY, then get out some of your fave rub ons, and rub them right onto the painted chipboard. There is soo much you could do with this technique as well!!
I can't wait to see where this little technique prompt takes you!
You have the entire month of September to complete this challenge.
