Autostitch vs Photostitch

I used to use Photostitch for all my 12x12 layouts but since my laptop crashed I've been using Autostich instead. I don't think I like it though. It makes all the layouts look curved. (I just put some in the gallery) Weird. I guess I'll have to re-install photostich. It wasn't as fast but it does a way better job.
Anyone else used Autostitch?

I just take photos of my layouts. Have never tried stitching.

I use a stitching progroam that came with my printer but when I got a new puter, I couldn't use it anymore...so now I just take photos of them all.

I use to have a large bed scanner so no stitching was required....in fact dh went and bought me a new one...but I really don't have room for it in my studio. :blush: He can't understand why I don't care whether I hook it up or not....it's cuz I take photos of all of my layouts! lol

Never heard of that program Michele--but I have started taking pictures cuz my old photoshop was bad at stitiching--and the scranner is hooked to dh's computer and so I rarely get to use it!

Never used either one of those...maybe I'll try the Photostitch...is it a free download?

never tried, I've always taken pics of LOs. My scanner is small, maybe I should try it.

I only use Photostitch (when stitching) because it's super easy!

autostitch is even easier than photostitch, kate...but I dont like the results as well.
oh well.
Sounds like I'd better get with the program and start taking pictures of my layouts ;)

I use Panorama Maker and it's really easy too. I need to look into Photostitch and Autostitch though. I'm sure my printer probably has a stitching program too but since I've never read the instructions..I wouln't know, lol!
