Basic Grey Collection Packs Tip!!!

Perhaps YOU guys are already aware of this. IF you're not, I'm gonna post this in Laying Out. But ONLY if you guys aren't aware of it. I don't want to look like an IDIOT.

You know the cover sheets that come with a Basic Grey Collection? It shows ALL the patterned paper, and also a fanned out "paint chip" of all the "solid" colors. The squares are about 2" square each.



They're PERFECT to cut out and use as an embellishment!!! They are MINIATURE versions of the actual 12x12 pages!!!!!

I just LOVE this idea! Why didn't I think of that? I never think of anything...Thanks for the heads up. I'm gonna go tear into my paper pads and rip off the covers (gently, I promise).

I did a couple of layouts with these and posted them in the gallery - they worked just great AND I did a card with the entire front made with the pkg cutouts.
