Ribbon is hot right now. I will be the first to admit to being a total ribbon whore. But I've got this whole box of fiber... what to do with it?? Here are 50 ideas to stretch your imagination and help you use up your fiber stash!

50 ways to use Fibers

1. hang a photo from a brad like a picture frame (example: http://www.scrapbook.com/scrapbook_layouts/showphoto.php/photo/30447/cat/556/page/52)
2. on a tag
3. to stitch a border on a page
4. run some fiber under a pop-dotted title (see example: http://www.scrapbook.com/scrapbook_layouts/showphoto.php/photo/18384/cat/500/page/7)
5. make tassels by gathering 4-6 short strands together and wrapping another one around
6. make a striped background
7. embroider a design on a tag
8. tie in a bow
9. string with beads
10. knot every inch or two for a different look
11. draw a wave outline across the bottom of your page with liquid glue, adhere a blue/green fiber along it
12. wrap a chipboard frame in fiber for a fabric-like look
13. twist together different fibers and ribbons for a shabby-chic look
14. wrap an assortment of fibers around the front cover of your album to jazz it up (see example: http://www.paperdillies.com/gal/displayimage.php?album=9&pos=48)
15. wrap around the base of a journal box or photo mat and gather with a spiral clip (example: http://www.scrapbook.com/scrapbook_layouts/showphoto.php/photo/26423/cat/500/page/6)
16. lace two sections of a photo together (example: http://www.scrapbook.com/scrapbook_layouts/showphoto.php/photo/18185/cat/3323/page/3)
17. tie a bit of fiber around a monogram letter for a dash of color (example: http://www.paperdillies.com/gal/displayimage.php?album=9&pos=35)
18. run one fiber as a border and tie tags to it with other colors/styles (example: http://www.paperdillies.com/gal/displayimage.php?album=9&pos=32)
19. tape fiber to the front inside and to the back of a card and tie the two ends together in a bow to hold the card closed
20. thread a button
21. braid and glue down in the shape of a lasso or knot (example: http://www.scraplove.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=1932)
22. divide multiple strands into three sections and braid. Use thick braid as a border on a girl’s hairstyle page

24. lace through loopy brads

28. run in random squiggles on a collage background (example: http://www.scraplove.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=821&catid=member&imageuser=32)
