Something's wrong here... Something....


When I click on IE, it's supposed to bring me to my home page which is EBAY (for dh)

It flashes ebay then goes right to yahoo mail. I went to tools and it still says ebay is supposed to be my home page.

What's happening? Do I have a sick computer? :eek:

I whacked my cookies. Didn't help.

if you type in ebay after yahoo comes up - does it still flash back?

You might have accidentally reset your home page.

Tools > internet options

Put in what you want for your home page.

Is it still doing it?

Thanks Lucinda - it was set correctly to ebay - I reset it twice again... now it seems fine... weird thing weird. Leave it to MY computer to have ghosts...

Tigger... my laptop is doing the same freakin' thing!!!! I wanted to toss it out the door last night! I whacked cookies, ran all those scans (AdAware & Norton) even updated the scan things before I ran them...... STILL getting that stupid Yahoo mail thing.

Really pissed me off 'cuz everytime I clicked on a link on the board, it would open a new window with !#$%$@^^$&&%#@!#@ Yahoo mail. :banghead:

I'm gonna wait till I have at least 2 cups of coffee before I try the laptop today! I think it's safer if I stay on the desktop computer for now!

YES!! It was doing that to me too!! If I clicked on a link to the gallery I got Yahoo mail!!

That's too weird that it happened to both of us!!!!

A cookie will not cause this behavior. I'd suggest a spyware scan. The real question is, did you try to log onto the eBay site? It might be a fake, in which case, you definately DON'T want to log on to it...
