I saw this in a Papercrafts online newsletter and thought I'd share it....

Before you use detail embossing powder, be sure to wipe the surface with an anti-static pouch or dryer sheet. If you skip this step, the powder may cling to fingerprints and result in imperfections.

I am going to try that one... I hate the little flecks of powder all over...

I think I need a refresher course at the ECC...

I have that little static pouch thing from Stampin' Up! but I have NO idea how to use it!!! I guess I should figure that out now that I'm supposed to be selling them, huh?!

You just wipe them across the area you'll be embossing (and the trail where you'll be dumping the excess embossing powder off).
Stamp.
Do the powder thing (dump it on, pour off the excess).
Check for stray bits of powder, get them outta there (be careful about fussing with flecks that are really close to your stamped image).
Heat.
