Scrapbook In a Box
Supplies:- 4 sheets of 12x12 double sided heavy cardstock like MME
- adhesive
- bone folder or scorer
- paper cutter
Instructions:- First sheet of cardstock - this is your outside box. Score cardstock at 4" on all 4 sides. Cut out 4 corners like a big cross or plus sign, then fold.
- Second sheet of cardstock - cut to 11x11, score at 3 3/4 on all 4 sides and again cut out 4 corners.
- Third sheet of cardstock - cut to 10x10, score at 3 1/2 on all 4 sides and cut out 4 corners, making a big cross or plus sign.
- Fourth cardstock is your lid - cut to 8x8 and score at 1 7/8 on all 4 sides. Cut only one side of each corner square.
Fold all folds for box and pages back and forth.
Adhere your photos and embellishments first, before assembling.
Then glue 2nd sheet only to the inside center if 1st sheet. Glue 3rd sheet to 2nd sheet (center only).
Hope this is clear. Let me know if you have questions.

I love this!!! Thanks so much for putting the directions here for us!!!
btw, I added links to your original post so everyone can see the example you posted. That one is the reason we all wanted directions so I figured anyone else would want to see it too!

I made one of these last weekend for a baby shower for a gal at DH's office. I only made two layers of picture holders and included a #L adhesive thingy for her to attach her pictures once she had the little guy. I would post a picture, but silly me forgot to take one!
Oh, I almost forgot! We were giving her a gift card to babies r us. I put that inside with it. Everyone loved it! And it was so simple to make. Thanks so much for posting directions!

Scrapbook in a Box - Variation
Here is my variation on the photo box
www.scraplove.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=10886
I used the die center at my LSS (flower card) for the lid!
I used cardboard as the base because my pp was single sided and very thin. Modpodge the pp to the cardboard.
Of course, it woudn't close properly, so I used the Crop-A-Dile to punch some holes in the corners and then tied some ribbon.
