This week’s challenge is for those still in the game AND those that would like to return to the game.

There are 12 people currently left in the game. You will vote off 4 players this week. There will be NO immunities. Any contestant previously voted out of the game can complete the challenge for a chance to get back in the game. Only 2 players will be voted back in.

Everyone that participates this week gets to vote. Everyone will vote for the top 3 remaining contestants they want out of the competition AND the top 3 ex-contestants they would like back IN the competition.

However, there is a catch. In order to prevent people voting out what they view as competition, all votes will be added to any previous votes to obtain the final scores. Meaning, if you have never had a vote cast against you, and every person trying to get back in the game votes for you, it might not be enough to keep you out of the game.

Now, on to the challenge.

This week’s challenge is to create a layout using the title “I WISH…”

There are no other rules other than show us your true style and what you are most comfortable doing...use your favorite manufacturer, your favorite technique or something that is very YOU. For some of you, this will be your last chance to make an impression to stay in the game OR to get BACK in the game. Make it a good one…

All entries need to be posted under the Week 7 Challenge Layout section and the Week 7 I Want Back In section of the So You Think You Can Scrap gallery.

Layouts need to be posted by Saturday, December 2nd, by 12:00 midnight CENTRAL time. ANY layout posted beyond this time period WILL be disqualified.

Please remember that all assignments must be new and created specifically for this contest. All layouts/projects created for ScrapLove may not be posted in any other online galleries until the end of the contest.

Voting for yourself is a given.

I'll give everyone 1 vote for themselves but that still puts you on an equal playing field.

Now, your second question...what is it?

Anyone got their ideas ready? I am not even in the finals and this one just let my mind flow! I sat down on the couch with my sketch book and just started writing! Thanks for giving all of voted off an opportunity to do this again if we so please! This site soooo rocks and I am here for the duration so y'all better get used to it.....bwahahahahaha!

I guess I am just confused with the voting and the "votes for getting out" and the "votes for getting back in".

So like...if I get like 15 votes to get back in...but I got 37 votes to be out...I still might not be back in...if there is someone who had 12 votes to get back in but only 5 to be out then they would beat me even though I got more votes to be back in??? Sorry. I think I need sleep!!!

This is a great challenge casue there are so many things that I wish for

You should see my Christmas list!!!! hehehehe...

But let's see if I have this right. I will vote off 3 of the remaining contestants and vote in 3 that I want back into the competion? Am I right?

Well, kind of. It's designed so that if you received votes every week of the competition and just barely skated through to the next round, one good week of votes isn't necessarily going to get you back or keep you in the game. It basically just keeps in mind the rest of the contest. I have this complicated spreadsheet I created that really does put everyone on an even playing field based on when they were voted out of the competition. You'll just have to trust me.

I'm all about keeping the voting as fair as possible...which is why this was created.

I'm certain that was because they were viewed as competition rather than their layout not being a favorite that week. I am soo in agreeance with you here on the fairness thing! You have done a great job so far keeping it fair...you can really tell! I think if we all vote and vote fairly instead of voting off the ppl that you think are your competition, you will get the best possible results!

This has been such a great great contest so far and I have really enjoyed the whole week to week challenges and have made a new "friend" in the process with Denise (hughesd)! She even mentioned me on her blog....what a sweetie!

This sounds great Monica! Thanks for all of your extra work to keep it fair and fun. I have to say that you doing this competition had increased my scrapbooking tons. Even though I'm not in it anymore (I'll try my best to remedy that this week) I have still been scrapping way more than I was before it started. Oh, and I found a great site in the process.
